Playing Dolls

Friday night was so much fun because it was the first time my daughter and I played dolls together. Mei has a Licca-chan doll, which is a like a Barbie for Japanese girls. Not that Japan doesn't have Barbie dolls, they have two versions but that's another story.

Anyway, I played one of my Blythes and she played Licca and we dressed them and did their hair then they found a baby puppy crying and took him to find his parents. Then they had a dance party and ate strawberries and went to bed. It's so interesting to see what kind of story a two-year-old will make up.

The funniest part was when she made Licca-chan start crying because her head was too small. Ridiculous!

Shanghai Season

We have the same taste in teapots!

Blythe dress from baby bloomers

Well, I don't know about you, but I rarely ever use the stupid diaper cover bloomer things that come with most baby dresses. But I have a bunch of them and was keeping them for the fabric. My sewing machine is in my parents' garage right now so I am always trying to think of ways to sew stuff with very little sewing and I created this little number tonight that I plan on making again with other bloomers.

I'll post it up on here as soon as I have more time. :)
